FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is CyberKnife radiosurgery and who is it suitable for?+

CyberKnife delivers precisely focused high-dose radiation to brain and spine tumours without open surgery. It is suitable for small to medium brain tumours, acoustic neuromas, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), trigeminal neuralgia and spinal metastases. Treatment is typically completed in 1–5 sessions on an outpatient basis.

How long is the hospital stay for brain tumour surgery?+

Most patients undergoing craniotomy for brain tumour are hospitalised for 5–10 days. Following discharge, a further 2–3 weeks of outpatient monitoring is advised before clearance to travel. CyberKnife patients typically travel home the day after their last treatment session.

Can I share my MRI/CT scans for a remote second opinion?+

Yes. Share your digital imaging files (DICOM format preferred) along with pathology reports through WhatsApp or email. Our neurosurgery team will review within 48 hours and provide a written second opinion, treatment recommendation and cost estimate.
